The project collects donations of good quality furniture and sells second hand and vintage pieces. Everything from beds frames to coffee tables to crockery can be found at their warehouse in Friern Banet and is sold at affordable prices.
The scheme is particularly aimed at helping families who may be struggling financially due to the economic downturn, but anyone is welcome to come and buy the furniture. This scheme will also divert tonnes of furniture away from landfill and ensure items are re-used or recycled instead, supporting Barnet Council'swaste prevention efforts.
